Walk Leader bios: Justin Manley

I am a third-year undergraduate studying math at the University of Chicago.

I write about architecture and planning at http://www.outoftheyards.com and tweet about architecture at @outoftheyards. Right now, I’m working on two long-form pieces: one investigating two distinctive Chicago building typologies in Hyde Park (the modern townhome, and the sunroom apartment), and another examining architectural responses to human tragedy.

I also develop Javascript mapping technologies (https://github.com/manleyjster?tab=repositories). My work with data, programming, and technology informs how I think about and approach the architecture of the city.
