Lots of news on exploring Chicago’s sidewalk ballet!

It’s crazy to think it’s been three months since I last posted here, but I’m delighted to say that I have some new things to show for the effort.

First, put this in your calendar: the third annual Jane’s Walk Chicago will take place on May 2 and 3, 2015 … simultaneously with 134 other cities across the globe.

Stay tuned for the what, where and when in Chicago… we’re working on it now!

In addition to my role as City Organizer for Jane’s Walk, I’ve recently become President of the board of the Chicago sponsoring organization, Friends of Downtown. We’ve been joined by several amazing and energetic new board members, and we’re working on making this year’s Jane’s Walk even bigger and better.

I’m also happy to say that for the third year, the University of Chicago’s University Community Service Center will be collaborating on organizing our events. I’m very pleased about our strong relationship, and hope that the University’s Office of Civic Engagement will also be a catalyst for cool new Walks around the South Side.

There’s so much to explore… come join us!
